Iron Basket Tree

Keeping it simple this year by using as many
natural elements as possible.

A ball of organic twine, pine cones and a couple
white candles still says Christmas, without
screaming CHRISTMAS!!

Mercury Glass

Beautiful Mercury glass, otherwise known as silvered glass was made famous for its layers of liquid silvering. Mercury glass was originally produced from 1840 - 1930 in Bohemia and also manufactured  in the United State by the Sandwich Glass Co., New England Glass Co. and the Boston Silver Glass Company. I just love the vintage look of the tea candles flickering through it's silvery haze.

Vintage Chic Shelf Revisited

Before
I love this shelf but after getting it up on the wall I decided the Hansel and Gretel finish was just not working for me, so I painted it off white and decorated with a light airy cottage vibe!!

Feather Tree

Getting ready for the holiday's, first up is this little feather tree. Last year I used traditional colors, this year a more shabby take on creams, whites, blues and of course, silver and gold!

Bowls of vintage ornaments thanks to my Grandmother for never throwing anything away!!♥

 Happy decorating!

Candelabra Turned Shabby Chic ♥

                         Before and After

Although pretty, this candelabra was a bit to mission for my taste. I'd been waiting for it to go on sale and was so excited to purchase it for 75% off!!!!  What would I ever do without my can of off white?   Just a few brushstrokes turned this candelabra into a perfect shabby chic centerpiece!  I love it!!!!!

Grandparents

Vintage inspired photo of my Grandparents.  Touches of soft off whites with a dash of sparkle, accented with naturals. Love and miss you dearly♥
